Sanctuary Gardener Update ~ 8/17/15

Good afternoon, everyone! I apologize for the late post today. (I know, you’re going to have to read this with your afternoon tea rather than your morning coffee.) Ever have one of those weekends where time got away from you and you realized, albeit too late, that you just tried to cram too much into too little time? Well, that was my weekend. In addition, I somehow hurt my thumb…of my right hand…which I write with, and I’m having difficulty typing and using a mouse. Regardless, I’m posting a few pictures for you so you won’t think I forgot my cyber garden buddies! This week’s garden photos!

Sanctuary Gardener Update ~ 7/21/14

I had a lazy week in the garden this week. I think I’m so exhausted from my work week and cooking/preserving, all I did was a little pruning and the harvesting. I had good intentions for catching up on gardening chores this past weekend, but I wasn’t feeling well on Saturday, and it rained on Sunday. So, guess what I’ll be doing after work this week? Yep – my not-done-yet to-do list: fertilizing, planting string beans, foliar sprays, etc. At least my garden is holding its own. Take a look.  This week’s garden photos!

Sanctuary Gardener Update ~ 7/7/14

This week was crunch week at work (for fiscal year end), so I didn’t get out in the garden as much as I wanted to. Also, Hurricane Arthur breezed by our coast on Thursday, July 3. It was cloudy and a little breezy, but my garden got only 0.2 inches of rain. I was hoping for at least an inch or so. Oh, well. Better than getting a deluge, eh? So, the hurricane had absolutely no effect on my garden, thankfully. This week’s garden pictures!
