2015 Year in Review

2015 Year in Review picHappy new year, everyone! This is my first official post of 2016, and I thought I’d give you a little glimpse of what happened on Sanctuary Gardener in 2015, all thanks to you, my readers.

After three years of sharing my gardening and homesteading adventures online, I am still amazed at how far and wide my piece of heaven has traveled. As of the end of 2015, my blog has been seen by gardeners in a total of 181 foreign countries. That’s awesome!

Views of my blog posts increased 28% from last year. That’s pretty good, considering I had a horrible gardening year (weather, heat, soil problems) and decreased my posting frequency.

My top five articles during 2015 were:

But more important than anything else to me is the fact that I feel like I’ve gotten to know many of you better over 2015, through comments and questions and emails. You have truly become my garden buddies. You are the reason I continue to share my gardening victories…as well as my agonizing defeats (that you may learn from my mistakes).

I hope you will continue to “stop by” when you have a question or want to share a triumph. I enjoy when you comment, ask questions, and share with me what’s happening in your garden in your neck of the woods.

Please feel free to tell your friends about my site; there’s always more room on this cyberspace homestead. And if you haven’t already done so, click the “Follow” button on the right, enter your email address, and you’ll get Sanctuary Gardener delivered to your email inbox with every post so you won’t miss a thing. (I have several things planned for this upcoming year!)

May 2016 bring all of us fertile soil, healthy plants, and bountiful harvests!
