Yes, it’s tomato, eggplant, pepper, cucumber, melon, and summer squash season. But, believe it or not, it’s also the season to be planning your fall garden. Here in the South, we actually can do a second planting of summer veggies (right about now) and start planting the fall crops a couple weeks after. So, I’m already working on my fall garden plan.
If you’re new to gardening, or you just want some more ideas or a little help, Seedsavers Exchange is giving a webinar TOMORROW, July 24, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight time (EDT). This webinar will give you all the basics on how to plan your fall garden, so you can enjoy the cooler season crops like lettuce, spinach, cabbage, broccoli, kale, carrots, turnips, radishes, and more.
Just register here with your name and email address. They’ll email you a link to use to view the webinar.
Keep harvesting those juicy summer veggies, but don’t forget to plan for the next phase of garden planting and eating! With this Seedsavers’ webinar, it’ll be a cinch.
