Four-leaf clovers are difficult to find. Some people go all their lives without finding one. When I was in my teens and twenties, I would look for them all the time – and find quite a few. It’s been many years since I’ve looked for – and found – any four-leaf clovers. However, while I was watering the garden today, I happened to notice one at my feet. I purposely looked further and found two more!
According to Wikipedia, nature produces one four-leaf clover for every 10,000 three-leaf ones. That means the odds of finding one are 10,000 to 1. And today, I found THREE! What are the odds??
I know the good luck associated with four-leaf clovers is just superstition, but I’d still like to think that means I’ll have a wonderful growing season this year. What do you think?
